Debbie Pidgeon

Debbie's clients say she works on their behalf to ensure their real estate goals are accomplished. She takes a can do positive attitude approach in working with clients and keeping everyone up to date on progress and working collaboratively with all real estate professionals to get the property closed.

She's lived, worked, and invested in Indianapolis for over 15 years and is familiar with helping homeowners and buyers throughout Indianapolis and Hamilton County. She familiar with historic neighborhoods in Indianapolis and owns multiple homes under the Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission (IHPC) jurisdiction.

Debbie excels at connecting resources and researching options in order to help her clients. She believes all homes have a story and the people are stewards along the homes path. She welcomes the opportunity to learn what home story you want to create.

Her first home was a duplex, and she was introduced to her husband, Ben, by a real estate agent because he was also a duplex owner. The couple has now been in property management on the near Eastside of Indianapolis for 15 years. They have three children, a dog, and multiple chickens who keep them on their toes. When not spending time with her family, she enjoys volunteering and gardening.

Debbie grew up in a small town in central Illinois and graduated from Lincoln Land Community College while playing softball. She continued her studies at Union College in Barbourville, KY where she earned a Bachelor's in Psychology and completed her collegiate softball career, and then went on to complete her M.S in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kentucky.

Debbie was a teacher trainer and community developer in Namibia while serving at a school for two years in the Peace Corps. She worked in state government more than a decade with the Department of Child Services and Serve Indiana. Her last position was as the Executive Director of Serve Indiana where she oversaw $5M in federal funds utilized for volunteer and youth service programming.
